We do this by committing to the Biblical model of community and relationship. We aim to reach people, see them set free, discipled, and plugged into community. This leads to life change, to loving and serving Jesus, to being sent to reach and teach others.

Love

We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another.

Mark 12:30-31

Worship

We believe worship is more than music - it’s an encounter with God’s presence.

John 4:23-24

Next Generation

We believe in the value and power that the next generation carries. We invest in, disciple, and raise them up to be aggressive and passionate lovers of God and people who will impact the world for the Kingdom.

1 Timothy 4:12

Serving

We are called to serve sacrificially, both within our church and outside our four walls. We are called to serve through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.

1 Peter 4:10

Connect Small Groups

Because small groups are the Biblical model, we believe life change happens in relationship within community, in being known. We facilitate member-led groups where people can experience community, find freedom, and take next steps.

James 5:16

Our Beliefs

  • Divine Scripture

We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God.

  • Triune God

We believe in the one, living, and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • Christ’s Deity

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, sinless in nature and life, full of the Holy Spirit without measure, authoritative in teaching, mighty and miraculous in ministry. He was crucified, dead, and buried, resurrected in power, ascended into heaven, and intercedes before the Father on our behalf.

  • Sin Forgiveness

We believe in the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ alone.

  • Eternal Salvation

We believe in eternal life and salvation by grace, through faith in Christ alone.

  • Holy Spirit

We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and fills believers with the presence of God. He anoints us for good works, unites us as the Body of Christ, equips us with power and spiritual gifts, and guides us in our Christian walk.

  • Christ’s Return

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall come to judge the living and the dead.

  • Sanctity of Human Life
    • We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image.
    • Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.
    • We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Psalm 139).
  • Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
    • We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27).
    • We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4).
    • We believe God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
    • We believe every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of New Covenant Worship Center.
  • Final Authority for Matters of Belief & Conduct
    • The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs.
    • The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
    • Because we believe Scripture is God’s Word and our ultimate authority, New Covenant Worship Center entrusts its Governing Elders to prayerfully guide our church in understanding, teaching, and living out the Bible in all areas of doctrine, practice, and community life.
